Just like tea tree oil, Manuka oil is packed with antibacterial properties that can help treat blemishes.  This oil has anti-fungal properties that inhibit the growth of fungi making it a good natural remedy for fungal infections such as athletes foot.  Manuka essential oil can help you fight off any type of inflammation from insect bites to sunburns to inflamed sinuses.

In insect bites and stings apply a few drops of Manuka essential oil to a carrier oil and apply topically.  This can help stop toxins from the bites spreading in the skin.  To soothe a sunburn add a few drops of Manuka essential oil to water and spray onto skin.  This will also help reduce swelling cause by sunburn.   *Do not apply to open of broken skin.  Another benefit of Manuka oil is it also acts as an effective antihistamine and can quickly reduce the production of histamine in the body.

Use in a diffuser, inhaler, or dilute in a carrier oil for topical application.  For external use only.  Do not use undiluted.

As with all essential oils, never use them undiluted, in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children.
